Developing our own projects from concept to ribbon cutting.
CarbonSync seeks to build, own and operate (BOO) electricity generating projects in the 1~10 Megawatt range. Typically, no up-front investment is required from the local utility or government, with pre-development funding raised through a joint venture with local equity partners.
Working with our Alliance Network, we handle feasibility studies, due diligence, community outreach, project siting, feedstock sourcing, funding, engineering and construction, carbon management, and operations management.
Global investment in renewable energy and water treatment technologies has never been higher. According to Bloomberg New Energy Finance, new global investment in clean energy alone reached $243 billion in 2010, up from $186.5 billion in 2009. This tidal surge of investment represents huge opportunities for private investors, local governments and utilities.
Renewable Energy Projects
Pre-development funding has been secured for several waste-to-energy projects in the Caribbean basin utilizing gasification technology to produce electricity and heat from municipal solid waste, biomass, and industrial waste. These projects may also produce desalinated water.
CarbonSync is currently seeking technology and development partners in:
- Biofuels (derived from biomass, municipal solid waste, sludge, etc.)
- Hydroelectricity (small hydro: 1~10 megawatts)
- Ocean energy (wave, tidal, OTEC – Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion)
We are interested in joint venture project development with developers, landowners, feedstock owners, and energy providers.
CarbonSync is actively soliciting technology partners for development of long-term revenue producing projects that convert wastewater streams into saleable end products like fertilizer, animal feed, biofuels and electricity.
